Reimagining the DKNY DNA

 

When DKNY was purchased by a holding company, the iconic brand went mainstream. With a new logo in place, it was time to rewrite the (brand) book on Donna Karan New York. I was tasked with creating the brand system, the brand book and the style guide. 

Infusing a new sense of cool into the American lifestyle brand, I made DKNY relatable to a younger generation, while still honoring it’s heritage. My work created a roadmap for the company and all of its future marketing efforts.
